Modern bathroom ideas

Here are ten modern bathroom ideas that fit into smaller homes. The plans can be altered for larger homes, but the idea is to make all the bathroom components fit together so they have a look of balance and style.

These are very popular bathroom plans at the moment and they are quite affordable. Not only that, but they are simple to plan, design and install which makes them perfect for do it yourself remodels or home improvement projects.

I like the darker tile and the wrought iron fixtures. The floor tile is larger than the wall tiles making it easier to install. The shower stall is spacious an has an elaborate design. Due to the unique design of the shower pan, a customized mortar bed is used to fit into the shower space. This is a big advantage when you need to fit a shower into an odd size location.

This has a corner bath with a recessed shower. It’s a very different design that shows creativity. It utilizes corner space effectively. This is a European design that is unique. I don’t really care for the small shower area though.

Here’s a wrap around shower that’s unique. Also the angle of the bath is different than any designs I have seen. I like the color of the tiles and the hardwood floor. The green tiles used in the shower walls is a clever way to add color to this bathroom

This design utilizes space really well. The bath has a nice step on it and the water closet fits in nicely with a bit of privacy. This is a nice bathroom design that would work well where guests have access to it. As far as functionality, the lack of a shower keeps it from being a great design in a master bedroom. Still it has a feel of charm and warmth.

I just wanted to say that I love your website. My husband and I followed your instructions on building our own home. Most of the work we did ourselves, but not all. We saved $90,000 in labor costs and now have a beautiful home that we own.

I built my own home doing all my own labor. My house costs me around $70,000 for materials. It took me 8 months to build and is about 2,000 square feet. I didn't think I could do it, but your house web site encouraged me. I used all the info you had.

Thank you,

I can't thank you enough for your free information web site about home building. I was looking for Electrical wiring diagrams when I found your site. It was very helpful.

My wife and I lost our home to foreclosure but we kept a plot of land to start over. We are halfway through the construction of our house. Your website gave us hope to start over and build a house with low payments. We are in our late 60's but we find it rewarding to put so much effort into a project that will reward us for years to come.
